1. Overview of Services
Quick1099 provides tools to prepare, electronically file, deliver, store, and manage supported tax forms and related records. Quick1099 is not a law firm or financial advisory service. Users remain responsible for reviewing filing data and meeting tax obligations.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- Users acting for a business must have authority to do so.
- Registration information must be accurate and complete.
- Account credentials must be kept secure.
3. User Responsibilities
Users must provide complete and accurate information, review forms before submission, comply with applicable law, and retain appropriate records. Unauthorized access, malware, fraudulent filings, and interference with the service are prohibited.
4. Tax Filing Compliance
When a user submits a filing, the user authorizes Quick1099 to transmit the filing through its IRS-authorized e-file provider workflow. The user remains responsible for verifying all form data before submission.
5. Payment, Pricing & Refunds
Fees are displayed before checkout and must be paid before submission. Refund eligibility depends on whether a form has already been transmitted and is governed by the Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
Quick1099 software, designs, logos, documentation, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws and may not be copied, reverse-engineered, or reused without authorization.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
The Privacy Policy and related security documentation explain how personal and filing information is handled and protected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Quick1099 is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, penalties caused by user-provided errors, or failures outside Quick1099 control. Any liability is subject to the controlling agreement and applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Users are responsible for reviewing all information before filing and for maintaining independent records.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for violations, suspected fraud, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Users may request account closure through support.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
The current Terms identify Illinois law and dispute resolution in Chicago, subject to the final agreement and applicable law.
12. Modifications
Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
